Can I swim or shower with my jade piece?
Jade itself is waterproof, and so are our necklace cords and chains.
Washing your piece with mild soapy water and drying it with a soft cloth will help keep it looking fresh.
Showering or washing your hands with your jade is perfectly fine — just avoid harsh chemicals, sulphur‑rich water, and chlorinated pools.
Cleaning your jade
When you first receive it:
- Rinse your jade with lukewarm water
- Wash gently with mild soapy water
- For added moisture and a naturally glossier finish, place it in the freezer for one hour or in the fridge overnight
Long‑term maintenance:
- Clean occasionally with mild soap and water
- Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth
Storage
- Store pieces separately to prevent scratches
- Keep them in a cool, dry place
